In the Solar System's Equation

by Diana Maria Ogescu

I see other planets,
but I don't know
what the Earth is.

Looking after
a falling star,
I lost my eyes
in the zodiacal light.

Movements of dark phantoms
give birth to the comets
pushed on orbits to the Sun,
while I am burnt
by the blaze
of a strange season.

The long wing of an angel
covers my body
of an "x" unknown
in the solar system's equation.
